In the the lab of future of the CETPM the institute at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences located in Herrieden, movizon CONTROL is used as a higher-level AGV control system in addition to Karakuri solutions, collaborative robots (Cobot), and autonomous mobile robots (AMR).
The CETPM offers specialists and managers a comprehensive range of seminars, courses with university certificates, workshops and networking events. The integrated lab of future is a place to discover innovative possibilities for the automation of processes on a live example.
We were able to meet the academic director of the institute, Prof. Dr. Constantin May and get an impression of the use of our software and the variety of possible applications in combination with Karakuri solutions. movizon CONTROL as a higher-level AGV control system already supports the lean production depicted in the lab of future and contributes to the direct application of the previously taught lean methods and tools based on real processes. In the context of the further design of the existing automation processes, movizon CONTROL, as a higher-level AGV control system, enables a variety of integration options for sensors, RFID readers, machines, and scanners. In addition, a digital twin of the production plant including material flow increases the transparency of the processes. The advantages and possible applications of a higher-level AGV control system can be experienced concerning the overall process.
